As the embryonic years of the 21st Century and the influence of the Age of Aquarius kicks in, the evolution of mankind embraces a much needed time of humanity and enlightenment. |
Now is the time for all of us to be 'the change we seek'. Spirit of the Middle East as a concept seeks to inspire this change through a holistic manifesto of inspirational events creating new visions of living. As a unifying focus for individuals and groups to explore, provide and promote holistic education, health care and awareness that our mind, body and soul become one harmonious creation of our being. |

If we gradually shift away from a materialistic society towards a new bottom line of healthy living, decent human values, kindness and generosity then and only then will this change take place. Understanding and tolerance of each other and ecological responsibility are urgent imperatives on a global scale if this planet is to survive. |

With this in mind Spirit of the Middle East as an organisation has been set up as an Anglo-Egyptian incentive to launch the 1st International Mind, Body and Spirit Festival of Giving ever to be held in Egypt, in September 2007. Spearheaded by Suzanne Mitchell-Egan, a holistic event organiser, she has created a team of like minded dedicated professionals who are committed to ensuring the Festival is a successful event bringing it to the heart of the Egyptian people. There is evidence of an evolving spiritual revolution across our world, a renaissance of a current transition towards the convergence of Science and Spirituality. The latter is not a belief system but a way of life to sustain love for each other fostering appreciation and care for our planet. After all we all breathe the same air, share the same earth and all feel the warmth of the sun. Our planet is not exclusive to any one race of people, it belongs to all of us a sacred place as a gift for all of us to enjoy. |

This spiritual revolution does not undermine traditional belief systems but on the contrary enhances individual religious convictions enabling all of us whatever our path to offer our services to mankind. Helping people to develop their personal power and release their inner potential in a unique way thus making a valuable contribution as individuals to the world is the 'change' we must seek. Why do something ordinary when you can do something extraordinary. This is the challenge and destiny of our time, this is the vision of Spirit of the Middle East.
